In 2009, the Obsession Racing team expanded to two trucks, as the truck’s teammate, Obsessed, was created, and first unveiled to the public at the Monster Jam World Finals X pit party. Another new paint scheme would follow two years later. The truck would receive a sponsorship with Fabtech and debut a new blue paint scheme. In 2006, Reynolds, Wood, and Stone resumed driving their own trucks, leaving Swanson to campaign the Obsession name for himself. Swanson and Stone would continue to campaign their trucks throughout select events. In 2004, the Obsession name would expand to four trucks, with Steve Reynolds campaigning the name under Hartsock Racing, and Rod Wood campaigning the name on his McGruff chassis. This variant would later be rebranded as Major Obsession the following year. In 2001, a second Obsession debuted under Team KCM, with Chester Stone driving. At 8:30pm there was a little break before the freestyle.Obsession was first constructed in 1996, and made its competition debut the following year under Rick Swanson. For use, the show started at 6:00pm and the driving actually started around 7:00pm. The Monster Jam show includes about an hour of interviews and hype.but the drivers leave an hour before showtime. You can talk to the drivers and see the trucks. We only needed about 45 minutes at the party. The Pit Party is 2-3 hours long (depending on the day).If you go to the Pit Party, you probably need a jog stroller. Stollers are allowed inside the stadium.Ear protection is for sale if you need it. Bring ear protection for the kids and for yourself. Even outside the stadium you can hear the trucks. and here are a few things for you to know before you go.
